 Camtasia studio as constructive tool for effective teaching and learning

Camtasia is a digital software that are used constructive tool for effective teaching and learning. It is widely used when face to face teaching and learning are not possible like in the current pandemic situation to reach out the lesson meaningfully.  Teachers deliver the content lesson through recording powerpoint presentations, video tutorial and video lessons. By using camtasia studio, teachers can reach out to diverse learners and it makes learning fun and interesting. 

Following are the steps in creating video tutorial 

1. Open a new powerpoint presentation to prepare lesson content.

2. Insert images, use animation and timing to make lessons interesting.

 

3. Open camatasia studio to record the presentation

 

4. Click on record the screen option.

5. The recording box will appear.

6. Click on web and audio on option.

   

7. Open your powerpoint presentation and view the slideshow.

8. Click on the record button and count down starts.

9. Press F10 or Esc to stop the recording.

Click on save and edit button to edit your recording.

11. Make necessary editions using different features such as transection, callouts, splitting, inserting music etc..

12. After the necessary edition, click on produce and safe option to produce your work. 

13. Click on the next button, give title to your work and then click on the finish button. Wait for production till 100%
